InI: hehe, you were the little voice in my head giving me some doubts. I wasn't sure when you "entered" the demoscene. I don't want to enter in a sterile and meaningless "I was here first" war. But you might know me well enough now to figure that I can be an ass when I want, so... the first time I did something in a demo spirit was around 1989 on AMSTRAD, after I watching the UNION DEMO and THE BIG DEMO on Atari. :p The ones who did "The Froggies other the fence" were : LEGACY ( I saw them working on their 3D screen at the Crystal Summer Convention #1 in 1992, at the time I was had been really puzzled to see them vectorizing a video animation by hand ), THE OVERLANDERS and ST CONNEXION. EQUINOX are the ones who did the "Vodka demo", "Eat my bollocks", "Virtual escape"... Thank you for the link to other thread, and reminding me that time. Elmar WISOTZKI did some really good stuffs. Quite close to the real productions released around 1991. Suho1004: Sorry, your first post and the other inmates posts were rather harsh and din't mention at all that you might have been more sensitive to that "nostalgic" stuffs if it had been presented in a better way. That, plus the rather small feedback given to InI's threads about demo related stuffs, really gave me the impression that the Ozone Asylum inmates didn't knew the demoscene of the late 80's - early 90's.
You can come down off your high horse now.
Wow, you take the things quite seriously :( Glad to see some others knows that part of the computer scene. Cheers, Mathieu "POÏ" HENRI [This message has been edited by poi (edited 03-18-2003).]
