I would like a review of the design, Just be honest and tell me what you guys thing. I designed this website myself.

first thought - ok, clean, simple. graphic seems way too big

2nd thought - eek, why does 'journal' pop up a new window???

3rd - hm...ok, everything else is 'coming soon'. but...where's it gonna go? it doesn't look like there's any space for content. especially with that huge graphic that doesn't seem to be doing anything

4th - *man* that crosshair is annoying....can't fathom why people change cursors without any actual purpose.

5th - can't even read the white on black text....my eyes hurt...

conclusion - very large graphic that serves little purpose in its current state, no content, very little apparent space for content to go in, annoying cursor, first link leads to another site in a new window ( )...

so, while it appears clean and simple, it has some fatal flaws and leaves little indication how it will look once there is actual content.

Points are valid, I reconize them and respect them. Just to help clarify...

The Journal pops up in a new window due to it being on a different website.
The content is going to be designed in a uniue way, Trust me, There WILL be room as the graphics for "Coming Soon" will be re-developed
You say the White/Black hurts your eyes, Dude, You gots bad eyes

"If you can't handle that, Go fuck yourself because I really don't give a shit" could probably be expressed in a manner that would make more people want to stick around and read what you have to say.

The crosshair *is* sort of a cheap effect that I'd encourage you to drop. The image on the top is alright, except that it sort of looks like a banner and doesn't really integrate with the page itself. You might want to shrink its height and increase its width (or somehow make it into a background image), since it's not good that one has to scroll down just to see the title of the web site.

The journal link, as DL said, shouldn't pop up in a new window; this is unnecessary.

"Before using ANY of the content on this site, Ask Permission or I WILL sue" could also be more delicately stated. I must admit I'm suspicious that you'd actually [be financially able to] take legal action if someone stole stuff from your web site, and this comment may encourage others to do it just out of spite.

Overall, it's not bad, it could be better.

Im learnin' slowly, Liek Ive said before, I aint no pro, Just someone who's dedicated to it is all..... I like that cheap effect...

Yeah, but nobody else does. So, unless you only intend to make your site how you want it, you should ditch it. Otherwise, why bother posting it for a review in the first place?
