was given a job on testing a rather complex website structure (not too complex, though=)


what i would like you all to tell me is.
what is your protocol, advice and tools to use? free and/or easy to get tools, preferably.

This question is probably better asked in the main ozone forum.

Although, call me silly but I'd think the best program to test a website with is a web browser and a human. If you want to test the structure in terms of usability the best method would be to setup a focus group of testers that fit the sites target audience.

I don't see how any software can really help you test a website beyond testing the code itself for errors, bad links and invalid markup etc ect, but testing of these things should be done through the development, not after. Testing for these kind of errors after the project completion sounds like a certified nightmare to me.
