Has anyone ever seen this bug:

I have a page that dynamically writes style sheets to the document, and it has an onLoad event handler. That event handler is *never run*, Netscape continually thinks the page is loading.

When I go to edit-> preferences and turn off style sheets, the page loads successfully and the event handler runs.

Is there a work-around to make this work correctly (without turning off style sheets, of course)?

In Shitscape style sheets depend on JavaScript (i.e. if you turn JS off, CSS won?t work), and since you're writing CSS with JavaScript, I think that Shitscape goes in infinite loop. Try writing CSS on the server-side (via PERL /PHP/whatever) before page is served to the browser?
