Topic: Netscape (Page 1 of 1)

What's the most commonly used version of Netscape, aside from N6? I'm using 4.76, and i"m wondering if it's not the right one, because it's so *incredibly* buggy - and I'm not just talking about the fact that it doesnt follow the standards. It has these weird problems, and I'm hoping its something that can be fixed by installing a different version...

People mostly use Netscape from 4.7x series, so you have one of the latest versions.

BTW The latest version in 4.7x series is 4.78 ...

Any idea where I could get a copy of that for win 98? I couldn't find it on their download page...

Sigh, a 2 hour download... I hope this works better than what i've got. I just keep getting this weird error where NN thinks there are carriage returns where there aren't, and it complains about unterminated strings, and objects not existing, because it's just split my lines of code in half. I don't get it.
