I'm running IE 5.0 Is IE 6 that much better/improved.

My biggest hassle is going to be the download. Dial up connection on extremely flakey lines..connecting most often at 4800 will mean something close to a 2 hour download so I want to make sure it's worth it.

Yes, IE6 is worth downloading. The most important improvement is better cookies handling (and privacy in general). Also, it (partially) supports W3C DOM Level 1...

Thanx Max... Now all I have to do is pick a night when I don't have anything better to do than 'watch' a 2 hour download. <lol>

Well seems downloading IE6 isn't going to work for me. I had 18 'Resume' d/l... and even then I was only up to
1048kb. I doubt my connection will get any better. Any suggestions?

I can't help you with downloading issue. Maybe you can try to find alternate download location or order IE6 on CD...
