<rant>
i can't believe that N6.2.1 doesn't support the CSS positioning properties "left", "right", or the dimensional property "height". By now, there should be some compatibility among browsers. the properties are in the CSS1 or Css2 specs, so why doesn't shitscape get with the program?

you guys are indeed gurus if your CSS layouts work in N6 or O6. i had to go back and strip things post-ver 4 to even get my pages to work, and they look shitty in N & O.

*how* did they improve those browsers?

i'm thoroughly disgusted.

Woooo! Man that's funky! I checked out your site from the "Site Reviews" page and it looked good. Now the inner HTML thing is all the way at the top and everything is screwy. Hmm... I stopped at Shitscape 6.0 so I don't know what it looks like in the newer one.

I used to like Netscape when I was on my f**k M$ kick and wanted to move to Linux, but man, I don't know about them now.

Are there any specs on what Netscape now supports as far as CSS positioning?

That's really weird man. I would love to know the reason that it is doing that if you ever find out why.

And yes, I did do the reload and everything snapped together, I was just refereing to when you first loaded the page.

Let me know if you ever find out why this is happening.

I guess you could say that I don't care about shitscape, cause I don't design for it, but not supporting the CSS positioning properties "left", "right", or the dimensional property "height gives me more reason to hate it and love IE

yeah, unfortunately, conforming to the DOM is costing Netscape it's market share and we wind up with more and more broken code that IE will display. It's unbelieveable that N6 still doesn't handle CSS properly. I've had to go back to writing CSS for V4 browsers I guess it will come down to the better of two evils.

While we are on the subject, Opera does not do height the same as IE6 or Navigator and Opera does not do margin: 0px, 0px 0px 0px; .. as far as I can determine....keep hoping.. keep rewriting, keep tinkering but I think Opera does not do these things..:: sigh::

Yes, it does belong in All Browsers Suck BUT as a new person to the forum.. I never knew what that really meant.. I mean...I am not reviewing or shopping for a browser.. seemed like an end-user section when it was labeled All Browsers Suck but this "new" section is related specifically to clearly defined problems in CSS or other coding, and there is information about work-arounds, warnings of problems that are clearly demonstrated.. Doc, I think it was better to rename All browsers Suck and put it here.. now there are discussions about solutions..Most of this was in Site review..and it really isn't site review at all.. Good change!!
