Found a link to this nice, little article explaining the float property at Zekdman's site today. Just thuogh I would share since I know that I've at least wasted many hours trying to figure out how that thing works

Yeah, I always have a generic class in my style sheet name "clear".
Then I just throw a <br class="clear"/> after the floats to ensure it expands.

Nicely explained - important to see the reason that it works that way....

Good for Eric. "Complex Spiral Consulting" is obviously what a Netscape Standards Evangelist does in a post-Netscape world. He's increadible. Did you try printing the tutorial? Ahh, I just LOVE web pages with print style sheets!
