The input field for "password" is slightly longer than the other two and I have no idea why.

FWIW this is an IE only problem...

I am guessing that it is because of the type="password", although I don't know why it would be different.

You can set the width in the CSS for your "input" class...

Hmm, fancy that. Well fixed now, but I'd still be interested in knowing why it happened if anyone knows.

try specifying a fixed width font like courier for inputs, just to test if they'd then be the same. That's my guess anyhoo.
