Yep, bit more of a hassle.

In the long run though, it should help make things more powerful and more flexible as well.

It depends what the purpose of the image is, I guess.

An image such as a button for navigation, or a fancy border, would fall under 'style'.

An illustration or photograph or what have you would certainly be content.

If it's for a 'toy' like thing, then (IMO) the lines are not the same as in a 'normal' web page.

I think the simplest way to define weather or not an image is content or decoration is to ask yourself if the URL/location for that image is important information that you'd include in a pure XML version of the document.
