What do you think I got into Flash for - it sure wasn't so I could touch raw code!!! heh However, from what I understand, those who don't get all squeemish touching "real" code find that they can actually fine tune movies to a considerable extent. Fascinating. Their documentation makes some interesting point to - some of Flash 5's routines are actually based on Flash 4 and the Flash 4 routines are actually faster. There was a real interesting thread at were-here a month or so ago - FlashGuru had a pretty controversial list of things that speed ActionScript, and a number of things on that list were using Flash 4 routines. Really interestng stuff for the elite coders. Which I'm not. Yet. :) Loading...
