I know that still sucks. Also, I found this likke feature: ... Nope, cannot find it. It was some option, Like "set up slide show" but with more options. Under edit or one of those drop down menus. - You could get it to run in its own window, state your graphics card, and, I think sound card, and basiclly get it to run better. Goodluck!
