I have been asked for advice on taking a video clip on a digital video camera that is then put onto VHS and used as product advertisements for my dad's company, Ag Shield Mfg.
What we have is the digital video anda VHS made from by a professional company to work with.

What we want to do is make small movies to put on the internet and other movies to be sent out on CDs to the customers.

We have Premier 6.0 for our softeware and are wondering what formats would be best suited for this operatrion.
We are just getting started on this and don't know what to really do so any basic instructions/tuts on how to do his would be appreciated.

Tutorials on video formats?

Seems a bit over the top, thus I doubt you'll find any.

Have a read through the Premier 6 manual, from memory is has a section about the diffeent video formats and codecs that it supports out of the box, and what their generally good for. Appart from that, some google searches on "video formats and codecs for CD distrubtion" or ***" for internet delivery" should provide you all the information that you need to get started.
