I wondering if you can use ColdFusion MX as just a websever so i could run a little site that i created directly from my computer... If i cant can someone tell me a good program to use to that i could find a way to run a small website from my computer. |

AFAIK Cold Fusion MX isn't a web server, it's a server side technology or server side language. |

or...if you have broadband you can setup dynamic dns and host the site from your computer using Apache. |

Yea im at school and we have what i think they call an OC3 connection which is really fast. The only people who will see the link to my site is the people who get the link from my aim profile so that wouldnt creat to much trafic. |

Alright...i have downloaded apache and im looking into it and all the information is really confussing to me.... would it be to much to ask for someone to tell me exaclty how to configure what port i want to use and basically how i could customise it to meet my needs... |
