Preserved Topic: Blender, anyone? (Page 1 of 1)

Does anyone here have experience with blender? I?m working on the very beginning of a project involving the rendering of little space ships.

I picked up blender the other night, however I?m very new to the field of 3D. Any general recommendations?

The manual is about the best place to start for learning a program. I will contain all of the menu commands, and what you can do with this program, and how to go about it if your lucky.

Next: visit sites like http://www.find-3d.com or http://www.3dcafe.com and look up some tutes on blender.

If you can't find them there...I performed these two searches on google and altavisa for you, see what you can find in there.

One of the key points of Blender is that it's free, as long as you don't want a manual. The manual costs extra.

So, it's entirely probable that he doesn't have the 'M' in RTFM
