The poster has demanded we remove all his contributions, less he takes legal action.
We have done so.
Now Tyberius Prime expects him to start complaining that we removed his 'free speech' since this message will replace all of his posts, past and future.

Well, POV-Ray isn't a modeller, just a renderer, really. People often use other programs to generate meshes or 2D textures.

Which ones did he use Renderman for?

Gilles Tran has always been one of my favorites. He also features several of his images available as prints at Zazzle.com.

Ah, I see. Yup, POV-Ray is open source (well, they allow people to change it and recompile if credit is given to them), so there are a bunch of non-official versions, the most popular being MegaPOV, which POV-Ray 3.5 was mostly based on. I usually stick to the official version.

Hmm, I've never really looked into it. I'm willing to bet it's the same as official version 3.1 with some lighting enhancements of some sort. Let me see if I can find it's web page...

Ah, here we are: http://www.aetec.ee/fv/vkhomep.nsf/dd5cab6801f1723585256474005327c8/3a82f711cb03c4794225693d00549306?OpenDocument

"This custom version allows to describe POV-Ray object pigments with procedural code, compatible with RenderMan (R) Shading Language."

Looks like it has a few other things here and there.

I believe it is a version of POVray that supports renderman shaders.

It is. I'm pretty sure if you change the POV-Ray source code, you're not allowed to make money off it.
