ok....dummy objects look like a cross if you look at the from any plane angle. two ways to create one. Create>>Helpers>>Dummy, or go to the helpers tab on your tab bar if you use that and click on the cross. Anyway. you can link to a dummy the sdame way you would any object. ou can open up a schematic view and link the two objects that way, or you can use the 'Select and Link' tool on your Main Toolbar (an icon of two boxes with a chain between them, on the left). just select your object you want to link to your dummy with this tool selected, then you will be trailing a lined behind your mouse cursor connecting to your object, then click on your dummy object. Both object will turn white moentarily to show that hey have been linked. Repeat as neccesary. |

Make sure you have no background programs running except essential system things, ummm...up your virtual memory. Partition off a 50 meg drive, and tell winblows to put its swap file there, and that's the only thing that goes on that drive. Can't think of any others off the top of my head. |

I can handle that....the MAx files aren't that big anyhow, but yeah...it will add up, especially in a 8 turn match. |
