in building 3d worlds (not vrml)

ShootingStar: Yes to 3D worlds (I don't think the technology is quite up to what we might expect but it is certainly something we need to know about for the near future) and yes to vrml (ditto on the caveat), although you weren't asking about the latter it is certainly something I'd be interested in seeing. Get in a add some netry level stuff to 3D Worlds and then see what directions you want to take it in then. There will be a lot more interest in this soon - I've read a few articles on creating 3D worlds recently (I can't put my hand on the details but it was based on something newish from Blender).
