The poster has demanded we remove all his contributions, less he takes legal action.
We have done so.
Now Tyberius Prime expects him to start complaining that we removed his 'free speech' since this message will replace all of his posts, past and future.

what can i say.. i registered at the 3dbuzz forum, and there under online courses was Houdini .. i d/l it, but got the message i was missing INSTMSIA.EXE

i have been busy so i have not yet posted to that board.. and btw, the copy we get is the Apprentice Edition of Houdini. if you decide to try the d/l, would you let me know if you are able to install it?

you are probably right about it being some sort of promotional, but who cares? maybe they decided that it is better to give it away with training than have it all over the warez sites?

This is completely legit.
Its not a demo version, its called Houdini Apprentice, its a free learning version, like Maya PLE. Full features, with a small (much less noticeable than Maya's) watermark. Download here.

The people at 3d Buzz have been offering free training for various 3d, 2d, and Scripting programs for a long time now, are completely free (no selling your email, or info, or asking for money later), and ask for nothing except that you contribute to their community - posting in their forum specifically.
