I'm not getting any replies and I really really want some soon so I can show the rest of my crew. There are 13 people on the 3d animation "graphics" team/division. We are working hard to crank out the best animation ever. There are 3 weeks left, and I want your critiques. |

Responded on the CGTalk thread (gave the added bonus of a bump from way down deep). |

I feel bad this hasn't gotten any replies. The scene is excellent. All you need to do is keep adding details. The textures need to be worked on in general (lots of things look "flat"), along with the lighting - typically, in a classroom, there would be bright light coming through the windows which would illuminate most of the room, along with ugly light from flourescent lights on the ceiling. |

well, the shots seem to be gone at the moment, but my first thought was that its not dirty enough. great start, overall things look good, but the surfaces all seem too uniform and flat. you might check out some of the tutorials at DVgarage for some ideas on creating more realistic surfacing. great start tho, keep going |

Sorry I haven't dropped my two cents into this, but every time I load one fo the pages I never get any images loading, just lots of big boxes with little red Xs in them. |

Thank god you all finally replied. Took long enough!! =( We are on our LAST WEEK. It has to get shipped out very soon. I'll post some newer screens in a few minutes. THANKYOU FOR REPLYING. I feel bad that none of these guys have gotten any feedback, they've been working so hard. I know it's not dirty enough yet. I'm trying to junk it up nice. =) |

Just a mapping tweak...increase the U axis tiling on the diffuse map of your police line...the letters are becoming fuzzy bevcuase they are being stretched. |

its coming along i'd work on varying your surfaces a bit more, everything with the exception of the really shiny stuff looks like its made out of the same material. i also really don't see any shadows, the tables casting a shadow on the ground for instance (or its REALLY soft if it is there). look at things around you, there's a real variety in the ways things cast shadows, show some of that in your renderings. |
