what in blazes and the holy scooby snacks is wrong with this line of code?!?

$refre = "howdy";

the simple inclusion of that simple line gets me a fucking 500 server error. nothing else...

...stupid 500 server errors..... computer's way of calling you a moron....

Hi Petskull,

Does your script use strict? If so, you will need to use my $refre = "howdy";, unless that scalar is already deinfed somewhere else (and within the same scope). Other than that, it's perfectly valid code.

Petskull, server log files are your best friend in such situation (when you receive 500 error). So, take a look at them to find more information about what's really wrong...

f2s.... dun have access to the logs...

and yess, it is use strict.....someone give the guy a prize....

I never really use 'use strict' so I don't really know how things work in it...
