![]() I am going to be taking a self-directed course this semester in college, and since I've learned PHP, I was thinking of ASP. Do you think its something worth doing a semester of self-directed study on, or do you have a reccomendation for another IT related course?? |

![]() I've always ummed and arred about ASP. Lost of people tell me it's crap but there's soooo many jobs down here in brizi for ASP developers it's just not funny. |

![]() I think Max's point about learning ASP.NET is very timely. Things like PHP and MySQL are good long-term goals because you know they will continue to be developed and supported. With Microsoft products, to get the most benefit you need to stay on the cutting edge. Whatever M$ is pitching to IT managers is what will be in demand, so ASP.NET strikes me as a great thing to know right now. |
