I am trying to get SSI configured on Apache and I have no idea how to go about this. Any help?

In particular I'm trying to get the following command:
<!--#echo var="REMOTE_ADDR"-->
to give me the IP of the user requesting the page.

But you're not saying what's happening when you try that. Error? No value?

Hey, thanks for the help guys, but I got it going.

We had the SSI configured properly, but it was the page itself.

After going through DL's tut on GN a few times, I realized that I was pulling the scripts from a txt file and that's why the directive wouldn't work. I renamed it to .shtml and it went through perfectly.

Thanks for the help though.
