However the same thing doesn't show up in my browser (Win/IE6). I don't really care about backwards compatibility because this is the stuff that I am doing only for my testing purposes (for know, he he). I have a simple java applet here:

Using appletviewer I can see a red ellipse. However the same thing doesn't show up in my browser (Win/IE6).

Thank you InI, this makes sense.
