Topic awaiting preservation: Thumbnailscript (Page 1 of 1)

i want to write a script that takes all grafiks out of a specifik folder and puts them in to thumbnails in my site?
i dont want the script youst a few hint on how to aproach this

Just do a search for words like "thumbnail" here on the Asylum, and you'll see all previous topics about that...

a few hints?

1. open dir. read dir content.
2. loop through images and apply thumbmaking-function to all the images in the dir.
3. loop through outputted images and display them.

any more questions?

A couple of other tips.

For the actual graphic manipulation you'll need either the GD or netpbm packages (ask your sysadmin before installing one of these might already be there.
