Hello. To begin with, in the l337 language I would be considered a noob. However, I have a strong wish to understand how tcp/ip works. You might say " Just look it up on the web" but I have problems in that- Have you ever been reading somthing and your so lost that you can not even tell what things mean by context? Thats me when I try to read this stuff! If somebody could please help, or direct me to a resource for "Dummies" I would be greatly appreciate.

try the net for tcp/ip specifications, then use software that captures the tcp/ip packets for later analysis.

i beleive theory (documents)+practical (packet analysis) will get you started.
