I was wanting some opinions on two PHP/MySQL books from O'Reilly:
- "Programming PHP"
- "Web Database Applications with PHP & MySQL"

Thanks!

You can get both at a good local library =)

I picked up Programming PHP for 30% off of list price at Barnes and Nobles this weekend with my Readers Advantage card.... I paid like $17 for it...It is avery good book for newbies to PHP...it has really good explanations of PHP functions, etc...

You may also want to check out PHP and MySQL Web Development which is published by SAMS. It has been by far the most usefull well written PHP/MySQL book I have come across for intermediate - pretty advanced levels.
