Topic awaiting preservation: Executing Dynamic Content From a DB via JSP (Page 1 of 1)

We are looking at storing all of the content in a database. A couple of issue brought up are that we would have some kind of dynamic content in our content feilds as well.

The orrigional plan was to have a text field to store all the information.

Now, say we have:

content start
...
<% displayCalendar() %>
...
content

How would we handle to code being parsed here?

We are using a mapped servlet to put all the information back togeather from the database. When and how would the other information be processed.

The poster has demanded we remove all his contributions, less he takes legal action.
We have done so.
Now Tyberius Prime expects him to start complaining that we removed his 'free speech' since this message will replace all of his posts, past and future.
