Also check out MS Index Server - it will run with IIS and ASP and will index your site from the inside via the filesystem rather than trawling the URLs. It also supports a lot of file types, and is good for indexing e.g. shared word and powerpoint documents. |

I haven't worked on PHP before although I did install CGI script in the past. I will definitely look into Index Server. Doing my research, I found out that it's available in W2K. I don't have any other resources to use at this time other than Microsoft stuff. I'm just glad I don't have to use Frontpage for the htm pages! Thanks again! I'll come back if I encounter any problems and hope to meet more members who have experience with IIS. |
