(Caution, foul language) Please look at "Recent Comments". This is what I'm trying to accomplish. Our group is going to build an online radio station, with a dedication system. The last 5 dedication would be displayed on the sidebar of our website. Can anyone tell me what tools I should use? And if you can refer me to any references, that would be really great. And I would like to thank you all for helping me out these past few days. You guys are just great

As I presume you are using MySQL (and PHP) this is fairly staright forward but without knowing your database structure I can't really be more specific than that - search the MySQL manual for LIMIT and ORDER BY - its all pretty straightforward from there.
