I am wondering if anyone has any experience writting plugins for IE.

I am pretty sure I would have to use VB in order to create an IE plugin, or maybe I could do it using C/C++ but I am having a hard time finding any information on methods for creating pluggins.

Does anyone have any resources that might lead me in the correct direction?

Thanks for any help!

well, I'd wagger even money that they're some kind of com componentns... so you could do them with anything that makes com components
(VB/Visual C/ Delphi...)

search msdn.microsoft.com ... you should find something.

probably a good start

I am still looking into this. It is part of one of my long term goals, I am not expecting to have anything for a couple of months, I am still in the initial researching stages.

no worries, it's not like I got too much time right now to toy around.

Especially with a dying technology (after all microsoft itself proclaimed that IE as a standalone product was dead...),
which doesn't mean I wouldn't be interested.

Didn't Microsoft only do that for the mac version of IE? Of course because of Safari, Any one used it and compare it to IE? WOOOOW!

no, they'll reverse course.
In acient net history, they pushed IE with widows...

now they're gonna push the next, 'all secure' windows (codename: longhorn )
with newer IE versions.
