Darn - would someone show me how to post a sig?

Hi all,

thanks for the welcome and the pointers. I looked quickly in the FAQ but as I had so little time, thought I'd stumble through it (and as you saw, fell flat on my face.)

Ahhh...much better. Looks nice, with the transparency. Of course, you could make it a direct link to your website, and therefore lose the 'www' text...that would be even better...Hmmm...there is no transparency...my bad. Fix that sig!

something to keep in mind...
HTML is enabled in this sig forum.... but it is not enabled in almost every other part of the asylum...
So if you set you sige with HTML as opposed to UBB codes.... it won't work anywhere else.

My suggestion is to use the UBB codes. --> [ img ] and [ /img ] <-- that's all you need.

edit: this forum doesn't use email alerts. every thread gets replied to.... so they aren't needed.

This is the first time I've run across UBB code (pretty obvious, I know)

Actually, this is also the first time I've had to use transparencies. On my monitor I cannot see the black box mentioned.

In my prefs, it has a spot (which I selected) to get email alerts whenever. That's why I mentioned it.

I just looked to double-check myself...
but we don't have that option here.....

My day is just starting here but the caffeine has not really kicked in yet. And yes, I am rushing. It's sunday but I have to work so have little time to fight with the sig (blasted thing)
