Lucid Igunana; Michael pointed me to some work I'll have to do first, but I'll try to finish it as soon as possible. And you're not going to get any crucified pears either. I like Izzay way too much to do such an horrendous thing.

There were two composers named Strauss.

The progenitor of the cello was the viola de gamba. The bass came a couple hundred years later. Usually things develop from small to big music-wise.

Mahjqa, I am sorry if my quip about a crucified pear was offensive. I saw that your sig and Lucid Iguana's were both crosses and I had this image of Lucid Iguana's current sig re-done in this new style.

Naah. It's nothing, don't worry. I just happen to have a soft spot for pears...

I respect the pear a lot. Remember that I did the crucipear to prove that it was a religious icon!

it wants to be animated!

I thought about it, but I couldn't really think of something to do with it. And I sure as hell don't feel like animating it right now.

I just don't think that it needs to be.

I work at a lighting store and we sell this little desk lamp that has a wooden base shaped as a pear. Almost stole it for Izzy.

And yes, it's the Violoncello, but when I say that, people give me weird looks and ask me if my throat is alright =p

Generally when I write it, I put " 'cello " but I forgot this time.

ogie - i actually saw that play last night! it was a performance by a year 9 girls english class, but it was really good, and the person who played puck was fantastic!
