I'm new member and I just want to show off with my funky chrome-sig.
Do you wanna know the great techniques I used?

Ya, you made a fucking gradient and filled a circle with it. Then you forgot to shrink it down,
then you forgot to add a font that fits, then you made an ugly background, then you posted it here.

Well, I'm tempted to close this, but on the off chance that you are simply misguided, I'll leave it open and offer a few tips....

1) There is nothing even remotely chrome like in that...thing.

2) That....thing....is not a sig. it's a huge....thing.

3) If you take a few moments to look around, you will see very plainly that no, we aren't interested in the "techniques" used, as it's quite clear what you've done.

4) Follow the links at the bottom of the page to the 2 excellent photoshop tutorial resources, and learn something from them.

I was wondering that myself. But I would expand it it to "What's with the obvious trolls recently?" Did we piss a bunch of people off when we quit hosting their sigs?

just take them for the entertainment value they provide and life is good

I dunno ... add three lenflares(yea, use three different ones to make it go faster) with a yellow and blue clouds in the background might give it the cutting edge your clearly looking for.

P.s You might need to double it .. I dont think people will get its message unless it takes too long to download.
