Topic awaiting preservation: I got a new sig (Page 1 of 1)

I've taken some heat as of late for once having a crappy sig then getting rid of it to save the eyes of readers.

Well once I noticed it posted your sig every time you posted even if it was in the same thread, I was like my old sig is way too ugly for that.

But since I'm taking heat for not having one, I guess I thought I better get on the stick.

So I've done it... and hopefully it is low key enough, this time.

I didn't realise that was the sig at first, thought it was gone.

oh because, in case i change to another email address, I can just change the graphic on my web server.

That way even when people are looking at archived stuff, they know where to mail to.

Plus the added benefit of escaping the clutches of the dreaded spam crawler.

genis: When things get archived the sig contents are frozen in the form they were so if it was text it would reamin like that - if it is a graphic link rot will eventually kill it.

what is rot?

oh ya know, I forgot the colors changed after each post.

1. make sure the URL is valid by going to it in your browser. I noticed earlier that you had an ftp:// link you were trying - ftp links won't work with UBB, I don't think.

2. replace the space in the filename with "%20" (no quotes).

I can't see the sig...

Unfortunately, I can... that thing is horrid, man.

Sorry. Perhaps if you shrink it down a little, and experiment a bit with the colours, it would be better. Apart from that, it's well done. Maybe you should take out the white border and leave the faces. Good first effort.
