It is a stylized Libra sign with M shaped wings over a crescent moon representing my sun sign and username. The original is 800 x 600 but resized it does look jewel-like, doesn't it? I don't want to animate the center glass ball because there are already Asylumites out there that have already done that and have done it well. (Mindbender comes immediately to mind)
