Topic awaiting preservation: Moon (Page 1 of 1)

Here is a premilinary work :



I wanted to know if you had thoughts on what I should do with that, on the colors, size, speed, and so on.

My first idea was to make is smaller (between 2 to 4 times), make the cycle go back and a hasten a lot the whole thing. Do you think it would be good ?

The first thing I noticed is the big jump at the end of the animation. You need to fix that or it could incite a riot.

The background needs to be transparent of course.

Personally, I'd like the animation to be a bit slower but that could add to the size so....

I don't see the big jump krets is referring to so you must have fixed it. I think it should be in the new and full phases a little longer. Try to increase the delay for those frames. You may also wish to add a little color.

Really, the animation is not really smooth when slowed, so I made this one. Is this so bad ?

Looks like it's changing direction after a while.

I think its too fast.....slow it down alittle

yes alot better, but I dont know about the color...

oh wow we got the sun and moon in the same post...

Looks to me like the "main" moon image drifts to the left a bit as the shadow moves. Might just be an optical illusion though.
