Topic awaiting preservation: testing my sig. (Page 1 of 2)

For some reason I have a hard time believing that you created this. From what you first presented to us, this looks nothing like your style, or something you would create. Second it has the name Mike Shinoda which is a memeber of the band linken park. Having nothing to do with Any "Yannah" I have a feeling that you probabally did not create this.

If you did feel free to prove me wrong. That would make me extreemly happy.

What I think is missing is a sense of coherency, stated simple; it's just some photos sticked together, in a square banner. The thing sticks out like a sore thumb, and if you could at least put your name on it, it'd already help a lot.

I like this sig.
Really, I think it's a great looking signature image.
The colors arn't the best, and I'm sure some people will complain about it being a square, without your name. But everyone knows that the image is made to identify the poster, it doesn't necessarily need the posters name.

Problem: Light colors and big. Only use this when you make a longer post (6-7 full lines, or more) - or its just going to stand out.

I'm pleasantly surprised.

I also have to say I kinda like it.

Assuming this is your work, it is rather nice. The 'dirty' adges take away from the overly square look, and the colors - while not being the standard orange/yellow - work just fine.

Lack of your name is not an issue for me.

The only two things I would suggest -

1) Reduce the size a bit. For what is there, it's rather large

2) I'd remove the name, since it will only confuse people and has nothing to do with you really.

All in all, pretty decent sig.

Yannah, the sigs are ok, I personally like the linking park one..the second one is well sucks...I could tell you have been hanging out in SL too much and you are falowing their rules on making sigs take advice mahjq gave you...and please stay away from banners...please NO MORE NO MORE, my eyeballls gonna exploid! make something funky and unique that has to do with you or your life....

Well, since Linkin Park and the trolling have been a part of her life, I'd say that it fits your last requirment.

I like the Linkin Park one though. I didn't realize it was a banner at first.

Yannah it doesnt necessary has to do anything with you, look at my sig, its a bubble. what does bubble has to do with russian? nothing!
all I did was lurking in mahjqa's sig page and I just loved that liquid bubble he made so I decided to make similar plus stick my name inside...simple idea, but took me alot of work....now maybe you can make a transparent rose or something...what ever you like the most, whatever brings smile on your face anything, try to be creative!

Once again, DL hits the nail on the head.

For what it's worth, I never even thought of communism, and it doesn't "offend" me in the least. The smaller version is a lot better. It's definitely not my style, but I can appreciate the imitation of the art-deco style that was (and probably still is) so popular in nations influenced by the former Soviet Union. The sig reminds me of a lot of the art work I saw when I was in Mongolia, and yet it has a flair that sets it apart at the same time. Garish? Yes. Unique? Also yes. It just kind of knocked me out of my chair the first time around, that's all.

It could just use some work. For example: The flowers an an isolated element (with transparency) might work better.

No seriously, the first sig in this thread I liked - there was something to it that made it pleasant to look at, and I didn't really notice or care that it was rectangular (I'm not afraid of 90 degree angles). The second was tolerable, though I still don't see the gasmask; it looks like one of those urinal cakes to me. This one though? Ick. Ick ick ick. Blue and yellow and red, oh my! And not a blending between them. And those music lines REALLY need some cleaning up.

Yup, I agree with HS. The first one had some sense of...well...movement. It was well done.

The second was wasn't bad, but was just very stagnant (HS - draw a diagonal line through the 'urinal cake' from the bottom left to the top right, and keep going. You'll see an eye looking down and to the right...)

This latelst one needs a lot of work, but it's not a bad concept. It can be saved.

I like the "I'm not a Troll!" Sig.. It's got a nice and soft tone to it. I don't peel like my eye is getting poked out, it conveys something I can actually hear you saying and it has your name in it (not that that's necessary)

Is that you in the mask or just some pic from somewhere?


Hey Yannah... How about using the troll/trollies as your sig theme... I can see it now. I pink haired trollie in a gas mask... LOL

BTW...how do you make a transparent sig?, I know that jasc have those features but when I'm uploading them it wouldn't just work. I'm just concern.
