Topic awaiting preservation: Cute Bots

hmm..I dunno I just wanted to make a cute looking robot but it seems I cant get the effect right...yeah I play with lighing effect filter and channels seems like I am not really good with them...any advise?

I actually like it. It's kind of penquin like. You'll want to fix the jaggies on the foremost foot. I would also make the red spot more like a light or a least more glassy.

Well, it's not a bad start, but it needs a lot more.

for starters, the halo and general blurriness is killing it. It needs more detail to help define what it is - at the moment it just looks like an abstract shape...

it could also use a more definative light source, and a more metallic texture...something shinier.

So, harder edges, more detail, more shine =)
