New here and I just want to say I'm very impressed with the graphical talent here! Also, is there size restrictions to your sigs, cos everybodies seems to be pretty small compared to the 600 x 200 we use at IRON (clan gaming site)? Gladly cook up something smaller for this site, if so. Hi and thanks!

Ravenous, the asylumites will probably tell you that your sig :

- Burn the eyes
- Is humongous (size and weight)
- Is rectangular
- Doesn't match the nickname you use here

Yeah, we're quite uptight when it's about signature sizes and stuff. we have a little page in the :FAQ: about the do's and don'ts of a sig. They're not 'rules' per se, they're more like simple guidelines.
The biggest differences you will notice between the gaming site you mentioned and the asylum are, indeed, the sizes of signatures (both in bytesize as in dimensions, more info on that in the FAQ page) since we seem to think that the actual content of a thread shouldn't be clogged with many large images.

Furthermore, as this forum revolves greatly around graphics, signatures are mostly used to show off somebody's knowledge of photoshop (which means a little more time is invested in the creation process than just running some random filters) and useof other people's work is quite discouraged. (a signature should be something personal, in my humble opinion)

I disagree with that FAQ, but then, as the FAQ says, it's one person's opinion.

A sig should represent you. If it's square, it's square. If there's no transparency, so be it. If the colors are green and red, they'll probably stand out, but so what? These things don't make a sig bad. Don't conform to the expectations of others. Be yourself.

Hell, I don't even follow the size requirements.
