So I just started playing around with Image Ready. Tell me what you think of my first few deals.

I would really like the first one if the trails were gone, or fixed up a bit. Nice work, for a first try. I'm on my like 1,000,000th try with ImageReady and still can't do much of anything.

SupaFly: As cfb has said the first one is OK but is slightly too distracting with the trails. The others just don't really work.

Keep an eye on the file sizes.

From top to bottom:
201kb: way too big
38kb : okay
491kb: crazily big
21kb : loverly
Going by my opinion on sig filesizes.

is there any aftermarket tricks to lowering file size? Or is just simply go simpler with sigs?

and with transparency that nuclear one would be awesome as well.

Doc has some good info, and theres some in the FAQ as well, about animated GIF's, tranparency and matte colors.

(BTW: The matte color should be 2b0404)

yes, very little work is needed to fix that, that last ones nice, I can't figue out what filters are doing that distorion.. free transform or a bulit-in function of imageready/similar ? (In image ready , the matte color is color is slightly hidden by defualt btw, its there in the optimized menu).

whats a matte color? (i know where it is, but im curious about what it is)

yeah i have PS 7 and it comes with a list of text tweekers for right while your typing. I was gonna do something fun with free transform instead, but i was a rushin'.

In a gif, theres no 50% opacity, its either a color or transparent, on/off style .. so what happens when your original image, fades off into transparency ? A Matte color is picked as a background and its faded to that.
