Cute and clear! I like when a sig is what it's supposed to be!

But isn't the little kitty a bit... angry? Kind of... In the mood for attack?

Or is that the Odd part?

It sends confusing signals!

Anyway! Take chance and slip it into the ***JUNE 2003 SIG CONTEST *** Wildlife thread!

Couldn't hurt!

I would personalyl suggest making it static. The animation takes away from the nice simple clarity of it.

Other than that, I like it.

I like it... but... is there any reason for it to be so freakin long? the right half of that file is just transparent nothingness taking up space.

eh, it could stand to be a little smaller too.

Tidy work there mate.

I personally like smaller sigs. But it's pretty cool. I would suggest making
the picture of the cat and the grass smaller, so that it is the same height
as the text 'nice kitty....'

.quotes.

Um, that was an error. Forgot to crop it. I'll fix that as soon as I get home (what me? Posting from work? Never!)

FLAMEhorse, the cat is supposed to look menacing. The ?nice kitty? part is from the point of view of who/whatever the cat is stalking, like trying to nervously sweet talk it out of making you into lunch!

I think the nose looks a little weird.

Okay, revisions: jungle cat with cropped static image, and revised nose and eyes:

...and with all black elements made transparent...

Went for more realism instead of a cartoony look. I think it improves the nose and the eyes.

From those two I prefer the second one Odd Cat, and it is better smaller like that. Very good work, it's clean and neat, I like very much

That`s better. IMHO Leave the black and either soften the highlight on the nose , or add some to the eyes. The imbalance makes it too weird.

Looks better smaller, too. Could probably cut it down a bit more and still be fine.

Okay, I've decided to stick with the non-black, and I've edited the eyes a bit more - they were kind of wonky.

I decided to cut out the black because, although I hear what docilebob is saying, on my computer, black on the darker of the two forum colors is so dark that you can just see the black, but barely. So it kind of annoys the eyes. I know that the colors are going to look a little different on all computers, but that's my POV.

Thanks for the advice, all!
