I noticed also that between the first and second frame, it looks like the top of the head moves down a little and then back up for frame three. |

Yeah, the whole image distorts a bit in the vertical direction. Beyond that and the need for more frames it's pretty cool. |

There's no hard and fast rule about how many frames you should have. I won my very first sig contest with a 3-frame animation, as a matter of fact. |

I added a frame (actually duplicated one), and changed the Frame Delay. |

If all the layers are the same size to begin with, and you shrink them the same amount, that shouldn't happen. I have no idea why one of the layers is a pixel wider. |
