Preserved Topic: Mahj has a clouds PSD for download. (Page 1 of 1)

I was messing with clouds again... I actually got inspired by Schitzoboy's sig. Anyway.


And I thought I'd toss the PSD (600 KB) online to show you how I made it. No in-depth explanation, you'll have to download and see for yourself. Just randomly turn layers off and on (visible or invisible), discard the masks.. and take a look at what the Imageready thing does. I leave this thread open for discussion and/or questions, and if anyone else feels like making a sig or image with the same technique; go right ahead!

Looks more likely a desert where the moon is...misplaced?

It looks nice, but almost on the front, there is a black "area" that makes it look like ground.

doesn't look like clouds to me really, there's something that looks like 2 stacked sorbent rolls that never move behind the black moving shadows.

normally your animations are outstanding but this one ain't doing it for me.

I like it Mahjqa, it looks really nice. I'm going to download and have a look at your PSD. I think I know what you've done but I'm going to download and check it out anyway. I'm usually wrong

I've seen it before but I especially like the second sig, the one with the castle. The animation is fairly subtle and soft - really effective. It's a beautiful sig. Inspiring work as always.
