This is my first (or maybe second actually) that i do something animated. Obviously for the competition, although my skills are still very rookie =P. I decided for not touch filters for this one, and used the marker tool (read, I am using photopaint). I do realize animation aint very smooth, heh.

It's a tad on the big side (both in terms of file size and pixel size), but it certainly is interesting, a colorful.

And, frankly, your other sig just scares the living crap out of me, so I say go for it.

@mas - possibly my bandwith limit was exceeded. That or probably the anonymizer could not work with some browsers =

I like the angular fish. Very original idea.

Try shading it some more so it has depth. It's looking kind of flat as is.

Make the glow slightly less uniform, so it looks just a tinge more sparkly. It does need a bit more painting work, especially round the bottom where it's too light. It needs a little sharpening up tooround the edges, but other than that I think it's pretty cute. Good work.

One of my biggest problems when doing this kind of stuff is actually having motivation, even for little work it is, if i am not motivated, i cant do shit =/

I have yet to animate it, i am intending to do something a bit more fluid. I will try to do what quisja suggested, but i have yet to figure out how to do it (this isnthe second animated gif i have ever done =P).

EDIT: I don intend to add an orange/yellow tone in the face, like a small 'reflection' of the light. Whenever i get motivation again, that is
