As far as I know, you cropped a background from the CS Wallpapers site, overlayed it on some bricks, tinted it blue and slapped some filters one it.

Helpful? No problem.

Don't steal other people's work. No matter what the justification. No matter what the size of the situation.

Other than that, the lettering looks okay, and the colours aren't bad.

Now try making your own stuff.

I do have to admit, the work is nice, even though there is a an uncredited piece of work attached to it. Owner, you want to get into the graphics and/or webdesign field right? Well, there are a few rules that even an experienced artist should learn.

1. Do not steal from other artists. If you do use another person's artwork, either get their permission to use it, give that person credit but it is best if you do both permission and credit.

2. Take criticism and learn from it, even if it does not help much. Learn to take it and swallow it like a bad pill. But the main thing is LEARN FROM IT.

I do not mean to be so harsh but if you are choosing to be in this field, understand that it can be cut throat, gives meaning to the term 'starving artists.' Just some advice here.

If you consider *that* not nice, owner....you better go on back to mommy now, because that was pretty damn polite.

ya know one thing that i did notice in this forum that has drasticly changed my perseption of the "design world" is the
repect for other peoples property. When I first started dabbling with graphics, my whole theory was "use whatevers"
and say sorry if I got caught, but being that I am a professional musician and record label myself, that theory got tossed
rather quickly.

I would just smile and appreciate the comments given, even being gratefull some of the people here even take the time
to critique your material. I personally didn't care for it and I purposely didn't respond with that out of respect. I come from
the era of WildStyle, Street Wars, etc. and was even apprehended 5 times for CPD IV (if you have to ask... dont ask...)

I was in the biggest crew where I live and did pieces all over, and got up with uni-wides, pentels, pilots, etc.... so coming from
that angle, the style is a little wack, the character is a'ite. Background, could've fooled me. (good eye counterfeitbacon)

I think I saw another sig you had that was pretty nice, if im not mistaken.

Just take the comments in stride and learn from it is all.... I've been a part of this forum for a while now and most of the guys
here just shoot it to you straight.

1. I find it too big, i prefer somethng a little bit more subtle

2. Its too squarish, i personally dislike bold borders on sigs, sometimes they work , sometimes they dont, i think in here is doesnt work.

3. I can tell that you did not put alot of personal effort into your work, but i am not going to cry about it, i think a lot of people in here started that way too, including me, as you learn you will understand what we are talking about here.

Take a look around this place, look at other peoples styles, get inspired and come back with something a bit more homegrown.

This sig took 30 minutes when I first made it. I then scrapped it and remade it from scratch in 15.

how much time do you need?

Gotta agree with the other people on anti-piracy there... Nice Sig though. Like the blue background... Maybe a searchlight on the figure to make it appear as if he's escaping? Dunno.
