Hmmm, tricky question.

But you can get a CD with just about every thing Adobe has ever made all on one CD for 100 pesos or so. That's about 2 US dollars. Trouble is it is a priated version and you will get no support or anything. I bought a regular version when I was back in the states and paid full price. That being said, I'm not a complete angel and do use some of the other software that I have bought on the Philippine economy...

Jung; it looks very nifty, but I have two technical quibbles:

1) it seems you've used black as a matte color instead of the average of the forum's background colors; #4B0404
2) in the second-to last frame (I think it's that one) there's a 'blip' from a previous frame. You might want to fix that.

oh, i didn't think/know about the "average" forum color. usually when i make a sig i always make one on each color. not that that's a huge big deal or something, but it'd still be nice to only hafta do it once. i'm sure that lil tip was somewhere in the FAQ and i just overlooked it.

heheh GD is right. i just haven't been creative enough to come up with a sig that i could stand using all the time so i'm sigless
but... i'm also a layer freak...so, my first 2 layers are the 2 asylum colors. then i just save it twice and shut off the corresponding layer. and both are named the same...i just use "lt" or "dk" at the end of the file name to know which is which. it's really not rocket science (other wise i'd really fuck it up) but it's more of a pain than my lazy butt wants to put up with heheh
now though...i'll only be doing it once

*shapening the knife* hmmmmm....i was so impressed that for the first 5 days of the sig contest there were only sigs in the thread. i was so proud of yall... but now *sigh* there's more bullshit than sigs.
So, if those of you that posted comments over in there without a sig to enter could please line up in an orderly fashion, i'll be lopping off one finger from each of you! i haven't decided yet if i'm going to string them all together and wear them as a necklace or place them in a jar with pickling brine.

That is just too disturbing, something about seeing the name, Snookumz, on a finger just isn't right.

I've learned my lesson though, don't post at 6am after 4 hours sleep.

lacuna - shrink it down and string them together with a chain or ribbon with your name attached and you've got a sig

woops. Commenting the sigs in another thread is less convenient but that's the rules ... I understand their purpose ( and would like to keep my 9 fingers left ) so I'll stick to them from now on.

poi: The transparency in your x-ray sig isn't working, or did you mean for it to be like that?

Well, I'm going off a guess, but it looks like a variation on mahjqa's fire/clouds technique.

But with a polar coords thrown in, to get the outward expansion effect.

ozphactor: The black background is to make the sig. look like a real radiography ( understand one the doc. can handle ).
Black is quite close to #240000 ( the dark background color of the Asylum ), which certainly explains why you missed the slight rotation and the tiny hole in the bottom right corner. Anyway, CTRL+A will reveal these details.

Since I used a black background, I've set the matte color to #240000 thus, it shouldn't look too bad on the lighter background color of the Asylum.

Lacuna, that is just awesome! I was thinking something about the same when I first saw this topic, even tried a version myself but had major problems with it. You nailed it, dude. Very nice work!

That's funny, when I did that funky energy effect in mine, I was thinking about trying a Jacob's Ladder, but got side tracked. Wish it was a little smoother on the animation, but good job none the less!

was wanting to do that for a week or so now...just haven't had the time. i wish it were smoother as well. after i posted that i was really checkin out your funky energy effect mindbender, as i think that would work much nicer than what i did. will probably mess around with that a bit and see if i can't come up with something better.

[edit] ok...messed around with it a bit. i ended up adding a few more frames so it's a bit smoother. am much happier with it now.

Well I think we decided you could submit sigs in the sig competition that were made for someone else (although as in the 'make an inmate a sig' it might be best to check with them first) as someone people's names may inspire an interesting related sig. The sig does seem to have a planet on and pos. a spaceship so it might count as science.
