Snookumz, I'm sorry if I'm doing something I'm not supposed to (if so, just ask me and I'll remove the pictures) but I couldn't help trying to add some transparency to your sig.

Other BG... if you, or anyone has any questions on what I did or how I did it, please don't hesitate to ask.

That's no problem, I don't mind.
I intentionally wanted it on a full background since I don't like/know much about transparency.

I don't change something I like because other people don't like it or put it down. (Not saying anyone did thought)

If so, I'd like to have the original PSD, so I can tune the quality up a little, if you don't mind. (the first image you posted was in JPG, and I'd rather have the original to work with.)

Bleh I prefer short and sweet. Don't really see anything wrong with my original one, but I've noticed you guys, and gals, have a "thing" for transparency...or against square/rectangular sigs...? Anywho, it comes as I feel it looks best.

I've read the tutorials and such all around Asylum about Transparency, but I just don't understand it. I learn by hearing it or doing it, not by reading it...So everything I've done is either completely of my own learnings or by listening to someone explain it...

p.s. I still cant get my animation to work...I dont understand how to save it as an animation in ImageReady...

Bingo. Square/rectangular sigs that don't blend with the background remind me too much of banner ads.

Quick animation tute:
in photoshop, make up your animation by placing each movement on a different layer



File > save for web. make sure the matte colour is the same as the ozone background and choose which optimised version you want to save

now switch to image ready and make sure the animation panel is showing (window > animation)
click the duplicate frame button so you now have 2 frames



click on the first frame then go to the layers pallet and disable all layers you *dont* want to appear in the first frame of animation.



now click on frame 2 and disable all layers you dont want to appear in *this* frame and enable the layers you do want.
next select a suitable delay for the frames



now go to File > save optimised as
and select a name for your animated gif
Thats it. now just link your gif to the forum
