Not bad tom...that image looks familiar

The top one though appears to be quite grainy, almost as if I were looking at a high quality gif on a low bitdepth monitor, and it has a dirty-brown halo around it where the transparency hasn't quite worked.

Familiar indeed.

Increasing the amount of colors helps, by the way.

hehehe mahjqa thx for the help, i lost the one that i made originally last year with your suggestion on using a colour chanel to smooth it, got stuck in the same place again...
