my first attempt at making a gun in photoshop. whatcha think?

The handle, trigger, and back of the gun look sleek, but the barrel looks way out of place for some reason. Maybe some more shading and less contrast in colors between the two parts of the gun should do the trick.

actually, in my reference picture, the barrel is that dark, but i reworked it anyway.

I can't quite make out where the barrel is rounded, from those shines etc.. it looks flat

I think you may just be looking at it wrong hugh -

there is a double barrel - one on top of the other, then the body of the gun supporting the barrels below that.

Looks good overall outcyder. Could poddibly stand a little more detail here and there, a little more crispness.

I like it though.

well actually I did see it that way , and they look flat. I just wrote the above a little wrong. I think its because of how they squarely mush into the handle piece and the ends dont have as much definition either, looks a bit like they were made with bevel&emboss.

But is still grand none the less, should third barrel be a wee bit shorter maybe ?


... mmh, think I might make a gun sig, can't think of anything good for monthly TV.
